- Why did the site change?
- Mostly to comply with licensing issues but to regain a little control over hte site as a whole
- I had a site collection on the old portal, is it gone?
- No, the old portal is linked on the top menu bar. It is now called the legacy portal. Since that was built on the RC bits it will expire soon. If you want a new site collection on the new members only portal please contact the FEDSPUG staff.
- Why a members only portal?
- There have been a lot of requests for access to the legacy portal where people sinply wanted to grab all the information but were rather open in their intention to have no part in the meetings or community and didn't even want to be on the mailing list. So I decided to lock down the majority of the information. Getting access to the members only portal is pretty simple, attend a FEDSPUG meeting (either in person or via live meeting) and send us a email requesting access.
